
Chicken Azu
Description
A traditional Tatar dish can be prepared using any type of meat. One variation is chicken azu with potatoes. This dish makes an excellent lunch or dinner, and most importantly, it won't take much time to prepare.

1. The recipe for chicken azu is quite simple. First, wash the potatoes, peel them (if they are young, you can leave the skin on), and cut into small pieces. Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan and add the potatoes. Fry until a crispy crust forms.

2. Meanwhile, prepare the chicken. Wash the fillet, dry it, and cut into small cubes.

3. Pour a little vegetable oil into a saucepan and add the fillet. Fry, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Then add tomato sauce or tomato paste and sugar.

4. When the potatoes are fried, transfer them to the pan with the chicken fillet.

5. Slightly dry the cucumbers and cut into small cubes.

6. Add cucumbers to the saucepan. Mix thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover with a lid and simmer until fully cooked. For enhanced flavor, let the chicken azu rest for an additional 10–15 minutes after cooking. Then serve.
