Aromatic Fish Pâté
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Cut cod fillet or other white fish into pieces. Add finely chopped onion. Pour white wine over the preparation and refrigerate for 30 minutes. When the time is up, drain the fish and blend it into a pâté consistency. While blending, add the egg whites and sour cream one at a time. Add finely chopped herbs, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Preheat the oven to 150°C. Line a rectangular baking dish with heat-resistant food wrap. Spread a layer of fish and pack it down firmly. You can then add a layer of shrimp. Cover the dish with parchment paper and cook in a water bath at 150°C for 50 minutes. When the pâté is done, let it cool and refrigerate for 12 hours. Before serving, slice it nicely and garnish with a couple of parsley sprigs. Pairs well with mayonnaise. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
