Aromatic garlic flatbreads
Description
If you haven’t made flatbreads like these yet, be sure to give them a try. They’re a wonderful alternative to bread. They go well with soup or borscht, can be served for Sunday breakfast, and are easy to pack for the dacha or a barbecue. The dough is a pleasure to work with: it’s kneaded with boiling water and turns out strong and pliable. The recipe is very simple—worth saving. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Bring the edges of the dough together at the top, gathering it into the shape of a small pouch.
