
Aromatic Easter Bread
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Homemade cottage cheese, yogurt, sugar, and a few cardamom seeds—this is the recipe for cardamom cottage cheese paska. Interested? Then come on in, I'll explain in detail how to make an aromatic paska. Serve chilled.

Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients. Soak the raisins in hot water for 20 minutes, then drain and dry. Blend the cottage cheese, yogurt, sugar, and vanillin in a blender until smooth and lump-free. Grind the cardamom in a mortar or using a coffee grinder. Add the raisins and cardamom to the cottage cheese mixture, then mix well.

Invert the mold, place it on a plate, and line it with cheesecloth so that the edges hang down to the base of the mold. Transfer the curd mixture into the mold, cover with the cheesecloth, place a weight on top (I used a jar filled with water), and refrigerate for 10–12 hours. If necessary, drain the whey from the plate.

Unfold the cheesecloth, invert the mold onto a flat plate, remove the paskha mold, and carefully unwrap the cheesecloth. Decorate as desired.
