
Watermelon-strawberry smoothie
Description
This drink will definitely be a hit with kids—serve it warm so the kefir isn't cold. If strawberries aren't available, use strawberry jam or preserve instead, but then omit the sugar from the ingredient list to prevent the drink from becoming too sweet. The drink is ready to serve.

Prepare the listed ingredients. Rinse the strawberries and remove the stems from the berries.

Cut the red flesh from the watermelon and remove all the seeds, even the white ones. Cut it into pieces and place in the bowl or container of a blender.

Place the strawberries and add granulated sugar. If you have no allergy to it, you can optionally replace the sugar with any type of honey.

Pour in kefir of any fat content. If kefir is not available, you can use yogurt or ryazhenka.
