Peanuts in sugar

My children love this treat very much. Such homemade sweets are much better than store-bought candies with flavorings and colorings. The finished dessert can be served at the table.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can use either roasted or raw peanuts. This time I used roasted peanuts. If using raw peanuts, rinse them and dry on a paper towel.

Dissolve sugar in water in equal proportions.

Place the nuts on a dry skillet. Heat well.

Pour the sugar syrup into the pan with a quick motion. Set the heat to medium and reduce. After a few minutes, you will see the sugar syrup turn into caramel and evenly coat the peanuts.
