Appetizing brownie
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. For the brownies, I used dark cocoa powder, which determines the final color; if you use light cocoa, the brownies will turn out light brown. This recipe can be used for other desserts too—for example, a flowerpot-shaped cake, where this color will perfectly mimic soil in the pot. What about a Halloween cake? The earthy tone will be just right. And of course, you'll simply end up with a very delicious brownie! Try it. Serve warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Prepare the ingredients, take the butter out of the refrigerator about 15 minutes in advance and leave it on the table.
- 2
Step 2

2. Using a mixer, beat the butter with sugar.
- 3
Step 3

3. Add the raw eggs and continue beating at maximum speed until a creamy mixture is obtained.
- 4
Step 4

4. Done. At this stage, you can add vanilla sugar or extract.
- 5
Step 5

5. Add cocoa, flour, and baking powder. Mix with a mixer, first at low speed, then at medium speed.
- 6
Step 6

6. Add the sour cream and mix it into the dough using a mixer.
- 7
Step 7

7. The dough is ready! Turn on the oven to 160 degrees and let it heat up.
- 8
Step 8

8. The diameter of my pan is 22 cm; you can use (or even better) a square one, 20x20 cm. Line the bottom with parchment paper and grease it with oil. Spread the dough evenly and place in the oven.
- 9
Step 9

9. The brownie is ready after 15 minutes, but don't overbake it, otherwise it will crumble too much. Test for doneness with a toothpick—if it comes out dry, it's done!
- 10
Step 10

10. Brownies are traditionally topped with chocolate glaze or melted chocolate. That's exactly what I did—I made the glaze using my favorite recipe (a couple of tablespoons of milk, a piece of butter, sugar, and cocoa).

Step 11

11. Cut the cooled brownie into square or rectangular pieces. Enjoy!
