Orange marmalade
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Let's start making orange marmalade! First, make sure you have all the necessary ingredients and, of course, molds or jars for the marmalade. Ready? Let's continue. Squeeze the juice from the oranges—three to four juicy oranges should yield 350 ml of juice. Mix 50 ml of orange juice with sugar. Add agar-agar to the remaining juice and let it steep for 20 minutes. Place the orange juice mixed with sugar on the stove and bring to a boil. Then add the agar-agar infused juice and bring to a boil once again. Pour the still-hot orange marmalade into molds or jars and leave to set at room temperature for 3 hours. Although marmalade originated in Scotland, the biggest fans of it are the English. In every second household, breakfast isn't complete without this amazing treat. I fell in love with marmalade in England when I was visiting my sister. Of course, I had eaten marmalade before, but it was store-bought, factory-made, generally not the real thing! Only homemade marmalade convinced me of its essential place in a young homemaker's kitchen! By the way, the very first marmalade ever served to the Queen of Scotland was orange marmalade. The ready dessert can now be served.
