Orange liqueur at home
Description
The liqueur "Cointreau" is very easy to prepare. You will need oranges, vodka, and sugar. The key is to add pure, strained orange juice. So if you're using freshly squeezed juice, don't forget to strain it. Store the homemade liqueur in a cool, dark place. It's ready to serve.
Instructions

Step 1

Sterilize the bottles for liqueur, and set them aside. Wash the oranges and use a vegetable peeler to remove the peel.
- 2
Step 2

Evenly distribute the peel into the prepared jars. Meanwhile, prepare the syrup.
- 3
Step 3

Squeeze the juice from the oranges.

Step 4

In a saucepan, combine sugar and water, place over medium heat, and bring to a boil, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Then add orange juice (I got 200 ml from 8 oranges), stir and bring to a boil again. Then evenly pour the syrup into jars and let cool.

Step 5

Then pour 400 grams of vodka into each jar, stir (or shake), seal the jars, and store them in a dark place for a month.

Step 6

Then, after a month, you can strain the liqueur, discard the peel, and pour the resulting drink into bottles. Seal with a cork. After another month, the liqueur will be ready.
