Description

Perfectly complements meat, poultry, and side dishes. Be sure to remove the white part from the oranges, as it adds an unpleasant bitterness. Store the chutney covered in the refrigerator. The finished sauce can be kept in the refrigerator for several days.

    Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making orange chutney. Wash the fruits thoroughly and dry them.

    Cut the peel off the oranges together with the white part. Cut the flesh into pieces and place in a saucepan with a thick bottom.

    Peel the apple and remove the core, then cut it into cubes, just like the oranges. Add the apple to the saucepan.

    Pour water over the fruits, add ginger, and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring.

    Add sugar, cinnamon, and cloves to the saucepan. Simmer over low heat for another 30 minutes, stirring.
