Orange jelly for cake
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. This quick and easy orange jelly recipe for a cake will appeal to those home bakers who don't particularly enjoy working with dough and are hesitant about baking cakes from scratch. That's exactly why store-bought solutions exist: you can purchase a ready-made cake mix, mix it with milk or water, and bake it. Or you can simply buy a ready-made cake layer! The same goes for the frosting. In short, don't be afraid to experiment. If your cake features such a beautiful jelly topping, everyone will love it.

Step 1

1. First, place the biscuit base into the bottom of a springform pan, then spread cream over it. If you feel like it and have time, use your imagination—add a layer of nuts, chocolate chips, etc. You could also, for example, soak the biscuit with coffee liqueur.

Step 2

2. Slice the oranges very thinly into rounds and arrange them neatly on top of the cream. If desired, you can again use other fruits as well.

Step 3

3. Prepare store-bought jelly according to the package instructions, but use one and a half times less water than required, so the jelly has a rich color. Pour it over the oranges and wait for it to set completely. Ready!
