Antipasto
Description
This appetizer is quick and easy to make. Antipasto is a traditional Italian dish. It can be served cold or hot. I offer you a recipe for cold antipasto. It works best as a salad and appetizer—it simply whets the appetite before the main hot course. In addition to the ingredients I have listed, you can add your own favorites, preferably those popular in Italian cuisine. Be sure to try this dish. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Step 2

Cut the smoked sausage and Mozzarella cheese into small cubes of equal size.

Step 3

You can also slice marinated button mushrooms, but I prefer to use small mushrooms for the antipasto so you don't have to cut them and the salad looks nicer. Mix all the ingredients and drizzle with red wine vinegar.

Wrap your antipasto salad bowl with plastic wrap or place it in a cellophane bag. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
