Pineapple sauce
Description
Fresh or frozen pineapple can be used. I don't recommend canned pineapple, as it's too sweet. Instead of soy sauce, you can use tamari for an even more interesting flavor. Coconut sugar can be substituted with agave syrup. If you like spicy food, use fresh chili pepper instead of chili powder. This sauce is perfect served with boiled rice, fried tofu, or fresh vegetable salads. I highly recommend trying it—the sauce turns out incredibly delicious.
