American ice cream
Description
Ice cream is a favorite treat for both adults and children, typically enjoyed during warm weather, although it is just as delicious in winter. The key ingredient in this recipe is egg whites. If you enjoy baking, you probably already have plenty of egg whites saved up. Let's begin. 1. If you don't have separated egg whites on hand, take whole eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Slightly chill the whites, add a pinch of salt, and start beating them with a mixer until stiff peaks form. 2. Add one cup of sugar and continue beating until a thick, fluffy foam forms. 3. Heat water in a saucepan and dissolve gelatin in it; let it sit for ten minutes. Place the saucepan over heat and warm the mixture, but do not bring it to a boil. 4. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the gelatin mixture, stirring gently with a spatula. 5. Spoon the meringue mixture into molds and refrigerate for several hours until set. Before serving, decorate the ice cream with chocolate sprinkles.
