Description

Universal dressing for salads and hot dishes. Sweet American mustard is just as pungent as regular Russian mustard. Its sweetness, derived from large amounts of added honey and sugar, gives it a slightly refined and more appealing flavor. It is typically served with aspic, jellied dishes, and boiled or baked meat. Perfectly complements pasta, meat, and vegetables.

    Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making mustard at home.

    Put the mustard powder into a suitable container. Add salt and sugar.

    Pour in boiled water at room temperature.

    Add honey, mix the contents.

    Pour in the vegetable oil and vinegar.

    Mix the mixture thoroughly until it becomes smooth, fluid, and elastic. Transfer the contents into a suitable jar, tightly close with a lid, and leave in a warm place or simply at room temperature for about 12 hours (usually mustard is prepared overnight). In the morning, put it in the refrigerator and store it there.
