Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Bagel/Beigel — a traditional American bagel. The dough and preparation method are completely different from what we are used to. Light, almost weightless bagels are often served with jams, sauces, or even fish. They essentially serve as a sandwich base. In some ways, it resembles a burger, with the bagel filled with various ingredients. In any case, it's worth trying, and perhaps it will become your new favorite. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

Add half of the flour, sugar, and yeast to the warm water. Let it sit in a warm place for half an hour.

Add vegetable oil, salt, and the remaining flour. Knead the dough. Let it rest for another 15 minutes.

Divide the dough into 6 parts. Shape them into balls, make a hole in the center to form a bagel. Let rest for another 20 minutes.

Drop 2-3 bagels at a time into boiling water and let them cook for one minute on each side. Remove and place on a paper towel.

Thoroughly mix the poppy seeds with sugar.

Dip each bagel in poppy seeds or sesame seeds and place them on a baking sheet. Put the tray with bagels into a preheated oven at 220 degrees and bake for 13–18 minutes. Remove, let cool, and enjoy.
