Lacy pancakes with milk (easy recipe)
Description
The baking is simple and quick. A great way to learn how to make lacy pancakes is by using boiling water. Remember, the boiling water should be added after the flour, to the finished batter, so that the egg mixture doesn't curdle! Since the batter will be hot, there's no need to let it "rest"—the gluten will already be activated, and you can start frying the pancakes right away. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use milk of any fat content and type. Both cow's milk and oat, rice, etc. will work well.
- 2
Step 2

Break the chicken eggs into a deep container, add salt and granulated sugar. Whisk everything with a whisk for 3 minutes until well mixed. Optionally, you can add a little vanilla sugar.
- 3
Step 3

Pour in the milk and blend everything once again. The milk temperature is not critical—you can use either cold or room temperature milk.
- 4
Step 4

Add the premium wheat flour in parts and incorporate it with a whisk, but do not beat it, to prevent lumps from forming.
- 5
Step 5

Pour in the vegetable oil and mix all the contents of the container.
- 6
Step 6

Then, slowly pour in the boiling water in a thin stream, stirring it into the batter immediately. You will get a choux-like pancake batter that can be cooked right away.
- 7
Step 7

Heat a flat-bottomed pan on the stove and grease it with oil or fat the first time. Pour a small amount of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly, then pour off the excess. It is very important to pour the batter in small amounts so that it starts bubbling immediately. Fry the pancake for 1–2 minutes on one side.

Step 8

8. Flip to the other side and cook for another minute. Then transfer the pancake to a plate and prepare the remaining pancakes in the same way. Reduce the heat to medium if the pancakes start to brown at the edges.

Step 9

Serve the delicate, golden pancakes with drinks, milk, sour cream, jam, or preserves. Enjoy your meal!
