
Quince in vanilla syrup

Today I want to share with you a simple recipe for a very delicious and unusual quince dessert. It's incredibly easy and quick to prepare. Quince cooked in vanilla syrup turns out amazingly tasty, aromatic, and caramel-like.

Prepare the ingredients: measure the required amount of water and sugar. Wash the quince thoroughly and dry it.

Then we remove the zest from the lemon.

Pour water over it, add regular and vanilla sugar, and peppercorns. Place the pan over low heat and heat until the sugar dissolves.

Cut the quince into 4 parts and remove the core and seeds.

Transfer the quince to the syrup, bring to a boil over low heat, cover with a lid, and cook the quince for 30 minutes.

Transfer the cooked quince to a plate, and strain the syrup.

Transfer the syrup to high heat and boil for about 10 minutes, during which it will reduce to one-third of its original volume.
