
Ayran with cucumbers and herbs
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I'd like to point out right away that ayran with cucumbers and herbs can be made with both fresh and pickled cucumbers. You can try both versions and choose the one you like best. As for the herbs, there's also variety—dill is traditionally used, but parsley works great too. Serve chilled.

1. Dry the cucumbers slightly and grate finely on a fine grater. Wash the herbs and chop very finely with a sharp knife.

2. Prepare the blender and add kefir, herbs, and whey. By the way, you can replace the latter ingredient with mineral water, for example.

3. Add the cucumbers and blend once again. That's it—your ayran with cucumbers and herbs is ready to serve. For hot summer days, you can also add a few ice cubes.
