Tomato Adjika for Winter

Description
A winter preserve made at home. Here is a simple recipe for tomato adjika. You can eat the adjika as soon as it has cooled, or store it for up to a year. You'll lick your fingers. Jars keep for up to a year in a cool place.

Peel the onion. Finely slice.

Wash the carrots in cold water, peel them, and grate on a grater.

Peel the garlic with a knife. Press the garlic into a bowl.

Cut the apples into small pieces and remove the seeds.

Pass everything through a meat grinder and leave it in one bowl.

Cook the adjika in a pot for 1.5–2 hours. Stir constantly while cooking.

Add sugar, table vinegar, salt, and vegetable oil to the pot. Mix everything and cook for another 30 minutes.

Sterilize the jars.

Pour the adjika from the pot into jars and seal them.
