Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Grate the cheese on a grater. I used goat cheese, which is a type of hard cheese. In taste, it's similar to Adyghe or Caucasian cheese.
- 2
Step 2

Beat the eggs into the cheese. Add a little salt and pepper. Mix well.
- 3
Step 3

Grease the baking pan. Tear the lavash sheet into several pieces. Arrange the pieces on the bottom of the pan so that there are no gaps.
- 4
Step 4

Pour a little milk into the cheese mixture. You may not need the entire glass of milk. The consistency should be similar to pasta dough—liquid enough to thoroughly soak the lavash sheets, but not so much that the cheese is completely submerged and no longer visible.
- 5
Step 5

On top of the cheese, place pieces of lavash again, then cheese once more — continue this layering until all the ingredients are used up.
- 6
Step 6

If the last item is a lavash sheet, moisten it on both sides with milk before placing it into the baking dish. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Bake the achma in the oven until golden brown. It took me about 20 minutes.
