Description

The recipe won't take much time. Let's prepare Armenian achma at home. The filling for achma is made from cottage cheese mixed with grated cheese and salt. Divide lavash into four squares and soak them in kefir. Assemble the achma by layering lavash squares and the filling. The top layer should be the filling; sprinkle it with chopped dill and place the dish in the oven. Bake achma for 30–35 minutes until golden brown. Good luck! Serve cooled down or slightly warm.

    Mash the cottage cheese with a fork so that there are no lumps.

    Add the grated cheese and salt, mix thoroughly.

    Cut the lavash into four equal squares. Place one square on a deep baking tray and coat it with kefir.

    On top, spread 1/4 of the cottage cheese and cheese filling. Soak the next sheet of lavash in kefir and place it on the filling. Continue layering in this manner to form the achma, alternating lavash sheets and filling. The top layer should be the filling.

    Sprinkle the achma with chopped dill. Place the dish in the oven for 35 minutes at 180 degrees.
