1. I often make this apricot puree for winter at home. It works not only as baby food but also as an indispensable winter treat. We use ripe apricots, wash them thoroughly, and sprinkle them with a little sugar.

2. Put the fruit on to cook. Simmer the apricots for half an hour over very low heat. Remember to stir constantly.

3. When the apricots are ready, let them cool slightly, then transfer to a food processor or blend in a blender. The mixture should resemble purée.

4. After blending, divide the purée among jars and sterilize for about 5 minutes. This purée can be eaten right after blending.

5. If you add an apple to the recipe (also boil peeled slices), the purée will taste even better. Add sugar if desired.
