1. Sift the flour. Combine the dry ingredients: salt, sugar, and yeast. Add them to the flour and mix. Take warm water, pour it into this mixture. Begin kneading the dough with a spoon at first. Grease your hands with vegetable oil and continue kneading the dough.

2. As soon as you can form the dough into a ball, place it in a deep bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for 1 hour. Then gently deflate the risen dough and let it rise again for 30 minutes.

3. Grease a baking sheet with oil. After the second rise, place the dough onto the baking sheet. Shape it into a flat round, evenly spreading it out in the pan. Cover the baking sheet with the flattened dough with a towel. Let it rise for 20–30 minutes.

4. Unroll the towel. Wet your hands with water. Use the edge of your palm to make grooves lengthwise and crosswise on the flatbread. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees.
