Sauce from fresh cucumbers
Description
Minimal ingredients — excellent result. For a diet version of the sauce, you can use Greek yogurt instead of a sour cream and mayonnaise base, or combine it with these ingredients in various proportions. Parsley and/or dill are preferable for the herbs. However, if you enjoy the taste and aroma of cilantro, it can work well too. If fresh herbs aren't available, you can use dried herb blends. The finished sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
Instructions

Step 1

Wash the fresh cucumbers and peel off the skin. Now chop them as finely as possible. To speed up the process, you can grate them on a grater or chop them with a blender.

Step 2

Now place the cucumbers in a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of sour cream. It's better to choose low-fat products. Add a pinch of salt to these ingredients.

Step 3

Next, you need to peel and chop the garlic. I simply cut it into not-too-fine pieces, as I will later blend the sauce with a blender. Put the garlic into a bowl and add vegetable oil as well.

Step 4

All that's left is to add herbs and lemon juice. Wash the herbs and thoroughly dry them with a paper towel, chop them finely, then add to the other ingredients along with a teaspoon of lemon juice. Now blend the sauce with a blender at the lowest speed to break down any large vegetable pieces. It's ready!
